1Acceptance of Terms

By using TradeRelay, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2The Service

TradeRelay provides:

• A marketplace for trade companies to post overflow jobs
• A bidding system for tradespeople to compete for work
• Digital sign-off and photo proof of completion
• Escrow payment processing with guaranteed 24-hour payout

3Eligibility

For Companies: You must be a registered UK business posting legitimate trade work.

For Tradespeople: You must be over 18, have valid trade qualifications (Gas Safe, NICEIC, etc.), public liability insurance, and the right to work in the UK.

4Verification

All tradespeople must provide:

• Valid trade certification
• Proof of public liability insurance (minimum £1m)
• Photo ID verification

We reserve the right to refuse or revoke verification at any time.

5Fees & Payments

Pay As You Go: 8% commission on completed jobs (paid by the posting company).

Pro Subscription: £49.99/month plus 4% commission.

Tradespeople receive payment within 24 hours of job completion and customer sign-off.

6Job Completion

Jobs are considered complete when:

• The tradesperson uploads photo evidence of work completed
• A job sheet or description is provided
• The customer provides digital sign-off

7Disputes

If a dispute arises, TradeRelay will review evidence from both parties. Our decision is final. Funds may be held in escrow during dispute resolution.

8Cancellations

Jobs can be cancelled before a bid is accepted. Once a bid is accepted, cancellation by either party may incur a fee.

9Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Post fraudulent jobs or bids
• Circumvent the platform to avoid fees
• Harass other users
• Misrepresent qualifications or credentials

10Limitation of Liability

TradeRelay is a marketplace connecting parties. We are not responsible for the quality of work performed. Our liability is limited to fees paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

11Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms. You may close your account at any time.

12Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
